Run by Alvechurch Parish Council , the recently modernised centre offers a large main hall with easy access,  kitchen and toilet facilities, a children’s play area and sports pitches, and a large on-site car park.

Situated just outside of the Birmingham city boundary and very close to Junction 2 of the M42, the centre is easily approached by car. Its favourable location also  provides nearby and interesting walking opportunities along the Worcester/ Birmingham canal. And if preferred, the nearly next door Hopwood  House  pub  offers day-long food and drink in place of the Centre’s own kitchen facility.
